Mr. Pilates created over 500 exercises that work the entire body from head-to-toe.

There is also the Pilates equipment that was designed by Mr. Pilates himself.

You may have heard references to these pieces including the

Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Electric Chair, Ladder Barrel.

Yoga

is a Sanskrit word that means union.

The practice aims to harmonizing our body, breath, and mind in order to create a state of calmness, clarity and insight. This is accomplished through practicing yoga postures in conjunction with our breath. 

People come to yoga for different reasons.

Some are looking to improve their flexibility, strength and balance;

some to learn to relax and reduce stress; others to re-focus their minds, or as a spiritual quest.
